Well my dad and I finished my first AR 15 build. Its got a 20 inch barrel, but its still light as hell. Its like an A2 and an AR10 had a hellchild. Its a 308, with a basic red dot, and shoots like a dream. I got to shoot my dads "trench gun" shotgun, which was AWESOME!!! I friggin love slam-fire.

I want them to "exit" before Trump builds his wall. That way he can build that wall around Mexifornia too. Take all that money that we're no longer giving that commie state and put it to good use buying cinder blocks. :D

I wonder what the actual cost vs debt would be involved in California leaving.

I mean, it's not a lie that we make a shit ton of money:

Here's how big California's economy really is

So removing that (and the tax generated by said sales) would have an impact on the rest of the states. How much Federal aid does CA take though?

From (the Failing) NY Times:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/08/us/california-today-federal-taxes.html

Seems to be paying slightly more than it gets back in Federal aid, so that doesn't really help or hurt the argument. I guess the rest of the states would be slightly impacted by California leaving, but not in a huge way. California would be slightly better off by leaving (purely tax related, not everything else).

Would be curious to try and predict the rest of the fallout.. Would a new Hollywood be created elsewhere? Would the rest of the US watch "Foreign Movies" from California still?

In reality it would be such a mess I don't think it could ever happen.

The libs know where the cheddar is. Like any other plague of locusts, they start out small, grow into a swarm, consume everything and then move on. Cali is dying, so they must move on to the next major food source...

Yeah, the importation and breeding of left voters will eventually win out country wide. That conservative baby boomers will be dying off more regularly as time goes on won't help either. Then we have colleges pumping out left voters. It's pretty much a left/socialist/communist future inevitability. Hope I'm dead before it's realized. :grumpy:

That's really cool. I'd love some kind of robotic one that randomly moves around your house that's height adjustable and has a human shaped target to practice in the dark. Stationary targets just aren't challenging or realistic enough. "Hey, intruder. Stand still!"

Still, that thing would be a lot of fun. Sitting on the couch practicing. :D

Can't go wrong with a 1911 and all of those are well proven weapons. I'm about to receive my Adams Arms .308 AR. Have to go higher caliber to hunt on the property. Hoping to have some venison in the freezer this time next year.

Hard to go wrong with a Glock as well. We've got 5 of them. G19 is a great multipurpose sidearm.
we already own two but i want the glock 19 since its used by the raiders and the Glock 21SF just to have a .45 ACP glock. And we are going to turn his old Smith and Wesson M&P15 into a Block II clone minus the full auto

I think that 19's gonna be a little easier to concealed carry. I like the G43 because it clips right into my back pocket. It's pretty much the size of my wallet and I can carry it pretty much anywhere without "no guns" signage with no one the wiser. I use a +1 extended mag though to get my pinky on the grip, won't use anything that I can't fully grasp.

My field pistol is an FNP-45 with an RMR atop. It's a very nice large frame, high capacity .45 ACP pistol.
