During my tours of duty in A'Stan i remember i have seen some small 4WD like VW Iltis equiped with Milan AtK Missil launcher. Last week i have found at Marauder's Shop some of theses missil lauchers. So i buy it and decided it can make a nice stuff for a recon vehicle like the Cobra Stinger.

For the moment i have finish the camo and still have to work on the details of the vehicle. I have put the Milan just to give an idea on what it can look like, still have to put a MG on the passenger side, some antenas, bags etc.

Man, that camo paint job is excellent. I'd like to see that in the outdoors to see that baby blend in.

Yea, you really did a knock out job with the paint on this. It looks very fluid to what a camo pattern should IMO. Breaks up the color nicely. I'd like to see it in some type of desert environment to see if it might have a touch too much brown in it though. Not sure what the standards for desert are but it does seem a hair dark.

I'am waiting to have finish it before to put it in the dersert environment. With an other vehicle you can see the type of desert environment i have where i'am living. That's why i've try many kind of camo before to find the right one. Of course with that kind of colors it match here but not shure it can match in an other place. For the colors it's pure custom too, i've start with basic reference from Tamiya or Humbrol, making a paint scheme on an old hull, trying it outside then come back and try it again. The same for the patern, the 1st one was the Swedish patern with a lot of angles, than an other one the standar camo patern for the design, then with some paintbrush to give a kind of pixel camo andfinally with the sponge.

I have finish painting the rear side, ad some weathering on the rear compartment with the boxes, on the missil launcher too.

Just have to add some details on the inside with the dashboard

Great realistic touch on a Joe vehicle. I like that cobra tank you got there too.

Here are some more pictures of the 2 vehicles. 1 is the AT jeep and the other one is the anti personal jeep. You can see the efectivness of this "special" camo on my area.
