Does look great so far. But man, (personal preference of course) the wrist blades are long. I know they are somewhat canon (depending on what movies you consider canon), but they've always seemed excessive to me.

They're just stand-ins for the pic. I'm probably going to go with the original blade design in the end.

fantastic paint work on the base body. Colors look great. I think customs "from the hip" usually turn out to be some of the best ones.

The "armor" parts are Microman. The arms are modded MU, on the frost giant torso.

Updated 1st post with custom melee/CQB sword. I may be taking this in an Asian inspired direction, going on the idea that this guy could have visited Japan/China in the past. We'll see...

Never too much influence when it comes to Japanese armor. I could have done without the human weapons, though. Simply too small.

Normally I would agree about the armor, but I just don't see the Preds going to that extreme with it.

And human weapons? Not that they couldn't/wouldn't use them, but come on...

I would have at least made something that looks like the Preds made it, so it's more fitting to their needs.

Ok, didn't know. Either way... too much, imo. I'd like mine at least to look more Pred, with choice influenced pieces. Seems more character fitting that way, and if done right, could look better.

How did you do the netting on the torso?

Netting is wedding veil material, cut and glued on in a few choice places to allow complete movement.

That's a great discovery! Most netting is either to thick or the spacing isn't right...this looks perfect!

Yeah, it's good stuff. Pain in the ass to work with, being small, but the end results are worth it.
