I got the idea to make the truck from a photo of a WC63 Maxon in Italy. I also saw that Corgi made a model of one. There is no record of the truck ever being deployed in WWII based on information I recieved from a member who has a lot of information on the subject. They did use a gun trucks in Vietnam with Quad .50's mounted in the bed.

My conversion.

Best part is that, other than the antiquated WC63, that would still be a damn potent technical in some parts of the world.

I'd hate to see what happens when a Toyota goes up against a Maxon.

Too bad the Schleich Safari truck is a tad too small. A Maxon on that, with a bunch of cast ammo drums would make for an awesome technical. It's also too bad the M17 trailer is ridiculously overpriced on eBay.
