Yeah, you got to steer clear of the cheap stuff if you want it really clear. I used straight up Smoothcast Colormatch 327 for the riot shield, goggles, and mask.

The BBI (Super Humvee) and PTE openings are identical. I can fit the BBI turret on the PTE Humvee without any mods. Great idea but no, the opening is too small to fit the turret without mods.

It might be easier to use styrene rod if you're having trouble with the shoulder pins. I used that to fix my legs and green stuffed over it. I should have mine finished by the end of the year...

Do you still have the piece that was there before the mods? If so, get it cast in clear and then trim it to size.

Get some 13" diameter rings, plastic or metal, cut them in half to use as your framework. Then take poster board to cover over it. Seems it would be pretty easy and on the cheap too. You could still make a removable roof for it and of course add whatever detailing to make it look more accurate...

That's about what that figure is worth. Great articulation at the cost of sub par proportion. It would need a lot of work for it to be useful to me ;p
