It all depends on broadcast rights, & which provider is willing to pay for which movies. Comcast showed tons of promos for Iron Man 3, then at the last minute a contract dispute nix it. Happens regularly. Doesn't mean there aren't other places to watch it, but does make it more difficult.

They had a 60/40 (Marvel/Sony) deal in the works that didn't go through. I'd imagine they'd have Marvel write the script share production costs & Sony distribute, market the film long before giving up the rights entirely. (Which would earn them $0)
