I understand why they limited the helmet for the 1st movie, Thor is one of those characters that if you don't get right in the movie, then the whole movie falls apart. From a movie producer's point of view both Thor & CA were big gambles if the audience doesn't take the characters seriously...

After watching Red Arrow get ripped apart in a blaze of gunfire. Green Arrow decided to enhance his uniform. So he went to Edna Mode - Fashion designer to the hereos (& sometimes villians) His new uniform is made of a flexable fabric to defend against bullets.
