Shit, that's gonna look good when it's all fit in place.

It doesn't have quite as angled a front on the turret as the real deal, and I imagine I'll cut the barrel down to just past those notches, probably put the antenna base where that boxy missile rack thing is. I also plan to work on the interior if I start feeling froggy.

After KT posted that link to the pic of a 92 with a bigger turret, I decided to see if the PTE T-98 turret would fit. I need to do some sanding and filing and cutting to fit the retaining ring. But overall, the proportions are similar to the pic: And the PTE version, with much work to go:

The quality is good but I ordered a couple heads and helms and it took nearly 3 months to arrive. Not half as long as some people wait, but all the same, it's far too long for me to want to order again.

When I get mine all fixed up, I'm gonna paint it and get rid of the dayglo green. And the stupid mini wing guns that pop out.

I have one, I just need a bunch of parts to fix it up. Like wheel assemblies.

Update: Maggot cannon arrived, cut 3/4 of the old gun and the rear portion of the maggot cannon and fixed them together.

My best results have come from hot glue.

Oh, overall, I think the cannon is too big. But I'm probably going to cut the entire back 1/4 off or so. I just want something that looks less like a giant laser gun. :D I'm not sure how this will work, but I'm hopeful it will look better(meaner!) than what it has now!

Got a cobra Maggot cannon ordered and heading my way. Hopefully it will do well to replace the gun that's on this thing.

Hahaha.. you bet, dude. It needs knees AND ankles. I'm figuring bionicle since they have all those industrial-techy details and should blend in with what's already there.

Hmm, I'll have to see if I can find one of those on the cheap on ebay or something. That way at least I didn't spend a ton of money on it if I can't use it. I was thinking about that, but I'm not entirely sure how I would go about doing it and/or if I have joints that would be suitable...

I love seeing all the ways people hide the exposed engine block. I think the stowage looks tons better than what I did with the spare tire.

I don't collect SW, so I figured I'd make some adjustments. Still not sure if I'll replace the main gun or what I'd use for it, anyway. Obviously, this is a WIP, I've got a long way to go. Anti-personnel gun is half the AT-AP's gun and half Ghosthawk minigun. Radar dish is from a junker...

I like where you're going with it, but to me it seems that the treads are set too far back. Is the balance affected negatively at all? Loving the Track Viper, though!
