Well... the arms and legs are proportional, so going with anything bulkier would throw it off AND probably limit the range of motion a bit. I want maximum range, so the slightly sleeker look works. Not that I specified, but I'm not really going for any known look with this. Taking my own...

Head and torso are AngelForge (SDS) parts. I did slightly modify the shell behind the shoulders for better range of motion, and added MU Rogers double-jointed neck. Arms - MU Rogers Legs - MU Rogers, with Spidey lowers Hands/Feet - MU Night Crawler Wrists and ankles are Revoltech joints

More of an adult version, and more realistic... so to speak. Rough parts build - Base paint - 1st color base - Wash and highlights - More color - Added pads, wrist wraps, shoulder strap, and sword/scabbard I'll get much better, and more dynamic poses with the camera later...

This is my point. If you're breaking down a fig for doing kits, or making a custom fig kit, it's THE perfect opportunity to add the extra joints - imo. Not everyone likes/wants all the extras, but I can dream can't I? At least until I can get my own figs in kit form. :thumbsup:

I'd love to actually get a decent fucking Venom in the MU line. Something in-between normal and freak sized would be nice.

It's a fairly common practice for companies to "2 up" their products for sculpting and detail work, to then scale down to smaller sizes. What you're seeing is most likely just that.
