Tunnel Rat by Cloud Strife (Rd. 2)

I've been trying to figure out which legs to swap out with the 25th Tunnel Rat's legs, as they're not really that great. The knife and sheath are ridiculous. It was pointed out that the new Renegades Tunnel Rat's legs are shorter than most others. So, I set out to update Tunnel Rat once more. I...

That is the coolest cake ever, man. I'm sure your son is going to love it.

    Scarlett by Cloud Strife

I was heavily inspired by other customizers when I made Scarlett. I thought Stronox's idea of combining the Resolute Baroness head sculpt with the Resolute Scarlett hair was brilliant and did that with mine and repainted it. I also drew inspiration from Wry1's artwork of Scarlett. I wish there...

    Removing tattoos

You can use nail polish remover (the kind with acetone), but I recommend doing it by a sink with running water. The reason is that you want to rub the spot with acetone for only brief periods of time (10-15 seconds), put the figure under water and rinse before it starts eating at the plastic...

Beachhead by Cloud Strife (Rd. 2)

Here's the other one I've had mostly finished for awhile and finally got around to finishing it up. Basically, another heavily inspired Sideshow figure. I have to give credit to fellow customizer Vince_Chua for the idea of using the Lt. Stone vest for him. I did have to do some major modding to...

Stalker by Cloud Strife (Rd. 2)

It was suggested that I give a couple more figures TS camo. I've had this one mostly finished for awhile and wanted to go ahead and put the final touches on it before starting some commission work. All this is is a repaint of my first custom Stalker and is made to look more like his Sideshow...

    Submit Questions for pickelhaube!

We're going to be doing a Q&A with pickelhaube soon for the Front Page. So, if you have any questions you would like to ask regarding his kits for vehicles, post them here in this thread. We'll pick out the questions we feel are good and see if we can get him to answer them. Have at it boys!

Flint (Rd. 2) by Cloud Strife

It was suggested that I give Flint Tiger Stripe camo, similar to what the Sideshow Flint had. So, I thought it was a good and idea and did just that. While I was at it, I thought I would change a few other things as well. My 1st custom Flint for comparison: Recipe...

    Kitty Pryde finished

They actually have some really good sculpts in the line, and they seem to be getting better every wave, but the females are just terrible, if I'm being honest.

    Kitty Pryde finished

I have to agree. The MU sculpts, especially the female sculpts, are terrible. No detail whatsoever. They paint the clothes on and don't even attempt to give the clothing folds and/or wrinkles. They're just blank. But heck, as long as they're selling, why would Hasbro spend more money to make a...

Falcon by Cloud Strife (Rd. 2)

I knew that I wanted to make an updated Falcon for my collection and thought I would try Tiger Stripe camo out on him. This was my 2nd attempt at Tiger Stripe camo (it's been about a year since my 1st attempt). I'm happy with how the camo turned out and the parts seems to work well for him. I...

    [Request] Painting Camoflauge

You can hit whatever you've just painted with a blow-dryer for about 20-30 seconds and then let it cool back off before adding the next layer, as painting on a hot surface doesn't work too well. If the blow-dryer has a "cool" setting you can flip that on and hit for another 10 seconds or so to...

    [Request] Painting Camoflauge

Multiple thin coats allows the paint to dry evenly on the surface and helps retain the details of the sculpt. The paint is also a little more durable and resistant to wear.
