    G.I. Joe Classified Series (1:12)

Yeah, but the diversity always made good sense in the context of the characters. We had a Hawaiian guy, and of course, he was water-based. We had a native american, and he was outdoorsy and in-tune with nature. Main black guy was from the mean streets of Detroit. Sure you could call it...

Wolf Spider, Shadow Tracker, Helix, any *new* people they feel like incorporating. I really don't want any new characters at this point. Not that I'm totally opposed to anyone outside of the 82-87 era, but there were a bunch of good-but-underdeveloped characters in the Oughts that deserve more...

Abso-damn-lutely. Hawk is a blonde guy. That didn't change in 1986 just because hasbro assumed we were too stupid to distinguish between two guys with yellow hair. Heck, Mutt might be in the upcoming POs for all we know. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hawk, Buzzer, Ripper, Shockwave, and Helix are the rumors, but those are often wrong or miss something, so who knows. The digital renders of them all look great, but I'm still going to have to correct Hawk's hair. I might even order a spare to customize further with a black leather jacket like...

I think it came out pretty good. Just doing away with all the brown pouches made him feel a lot more like Snowjob, and giving him white boots and gloves just added more to the ARAH vibe.

I got a similar email. it is odd that he's separate from the rest of the wave. Solid cases? Different factory? Never was a real wave, just a collection of POs? Who knows.

Snowjob x2 arrived today. One of them is getting an ARAH paintjob the minute I get a little time. Black gloves and boots gotta go, and he needs some black on his straps. Otherwise, really excited to get this mold, as it seems it'll be getting a lot of reuse down the line.

Also, Big Ben is up as "in stock" at WM for immediate ordering with no limits. Of course, none of my POs from that round (Big Ben or Range Viper) have shipped. WTF. I don't care about Big Ben as a character, but he's going to make some great fodder for various things I have in mind.

Hmmm, I think you're going to be disappointed. You *might* be able to heat it up enough to get it on his head without ripping, but it'll be snug. If you really want it on there, you're likely going to have to take a dremel to SS's noggin. In person, it's noticeably larger than Officer's head.

Snow Serpent is a solid figure. Tight joints, good plastic, overall what you'd expect. I'd have preferred a more grey color than the near-white we got, but that's a minor nitpick. His accessories on the other hand are a borderline travesty. Recolored Bazooka launcher, backpack, and...

Pair of Flight Pods and Televipers arrived today, Snow Serpents shipped from BBTS, and Snowjobs charged at Pulse. Things are starting to pick up in the joeverse. And I got a third valaverse Powercon Swarm figure. These black and red guys are destined to become some kind of Iron Grenadier...

Yeah, there is talk that Shadow Tracker and that Varma "Ghost Spider" character are going to go up for PO soon. I'm still stunned that last one is a real product. When they go on clearance, I might buy up a few to turn into a squad of OpForces, but I'm not putting generic new guy next to my...

    G.I. Joe Classified Series (1:12)

My Snowjobs have charged, but I'm not sure they've shipped. I assume they will be dispatched shortly. I was out of the office when Snow Serpents went up, so I ordered mine from BBTS and Amazon. The BBTS ones have already hit my PoL and I've instructed them to ship ASAP too. Now all I need is...

Apparently neither is "Wolf Spider", otherwise they wouldn't use the codename in the middle of the real name. They only do that with the names they can't copywrite like Flash and Hawk.

it's a new character for sure, but I'm not convinced it's legit. Look at the helmet. It's like a valaverse ear-mic and NVG attached to an x-wing pilot helmet. Something about it doesn't jive.

The more I look at it, the more I think this is some clever interwebs hoax/custom. I can't wrap my head around hasbro making something this random. All the parts except one of the visors looks identifiable, and that visor looks kinda custom. I'm 70/30 on calling bullshit on this figure...

WTH... Parth Varma, aka "Wolf Spider". Not sure why they gave that name to an Indian guy, as we have wolf spiders aplenty here. It is assumed this is some upcoming WM exclusive given his NF affiliation. Nothing says "Night Force" like neon yellow accents!

So all four of my remaining retro WM SE's showed up this morning, two in a bubble mailer, two in a properly sized box. You can imagine the difference in quality of the cards. Two are pristine and two look like they've been attacked by a menopausal wolverine. Good thing I was planning to open...

    G.I. Joe Classified Series (1:12)

It seems to come in spurts. July was brutal, August has seen scant new product. But Snow Job, Big Ben, Range Viper, Televiper, Female Cobra Trooper 2-pack, Snow Serpent, and Steel Corps 2-pack, all seem to be in the hands of reviewers, so I'll be stunned if they don't show up here in...
