These came out about 10 years ago. Originally Gashapon toys, these were released in Japan and made out of some really crappy plastic. Some parts are o.k., others develop stress fractures and eventually shatter.
These were inspired by Micronauts. I actually have lots of these, but not the full line.
This one is a bad guy and is sporting replacement parts made by Vortious.
