Capt. Grid-Iron by Cloud Strife

Here's one that I've had posted on my facebook page for awhile, but hadn't posted a "finished" thread for yet, b/c I was considering doing some other things w/the custom, but decided against any changes.

So, here's my take on an updated Capt. Grid-Iron utilizing real-world military colors and gear. I opted out of giving him probably his most distinguishing feature, the face mask. Instead of a visor, I gave him goggles, and instead of yellow pants I went with a desert tiger stripe design. This ultimately led me to just painting him in desert themed fatigues. I did keep his green vest and helmet though, along with his gaiters.

Overall, I'm happy with how he turned out, and for me, there's enough features (albeit updated a bit) from the original design that he works as Capt. Grid-Iron for me.
