In the weekend I added another building an a heliport to my large Cobra fortress under construction. All made of old plywood and cardboard. It's becomming a kind of "Recycle Castle".

Today (Oct. 20, 2012) I have added a catapult jet ramp an some other parts. I have also put some more figures. I think I will customize McDonalds Bionicles as attacking robots. Some I have painted grafit.

Today (Oct. 25, 2012) I have added a 1,25 m large access ramp with an inbuilt maximum securty jail. On the ramp you can see Cobra bringing home some prey. I do not know what this robot bird is that I customized. I purchased it on a flea market. The Batman car is a rather heavy die cast model and therefore it was a little bit difficult to put it on the ramp in a way that it would not roll back and take the Hiss 2 down with it. The jail door below is a He Man equipment from the 80s that I repainted. Next I will make a defence wall to be placed in front of the water aera.

The pictures are added to the album accessible by following his link:

One man's trash is another man's awesomeness. Only thing is the ladder on the helo pad looks to high, maybe a sloped ramp. Good looking base.

Your are right but the ladder was temporary. I have replaced it by a stairway already. Currently I am working on a curved catapult ramp for a jet fighter (Stiletto). Next weekend I will add some new pictures.

I am so impressed with this. My son wants to do this with his desk, and my wife says you have too much time on your hands. Lol. She just doesn't get what we do.

That looks great! I like how you're incorporating it with existing furniture.

One of my old friends did the same when we were kids - he'd used half of his closet to conceal a Joe base made out of cardboard boxes and balsa wood. It even had working elevators. :D

Especially for your son I have added two pictures (see the last two in my album). Now he can show to his mother what Cobra does to women complaining too much and then go ahead with the modification of his desk.

Actually I do not incorporate anything. In our house I have a whole room of 5x 3 meters dedictated to my dioramas. Thre are some shelfs with a few hundred books left in that room because I do not know where elso to put them, besides a sofa.

Sorry, what I meant was, although it doesn't "match" the furniture, it still looks like it belongs. :)
