(With what little free time I have had lately, I've been working on several projects in small doses. Skullbuster is the first one to get finished.)

With the modern age comes a new Cobra bent on world domination. Instead of branching the Viper corps out into various brightly colored specialist Vipers, the Commander finally began to see his folly and had many absorbed back into the regular detail but with their specialist duties, and some branches were eliminated entirely.

One such branch that was completely eliminated was the Range Vipers, which were deemed a waste of funding. A few ditched their monkey skull helmets and rejoined the Viper corps, and others became mercenaries.

Skullbuster ditched the purple, and is now one of the better paid mercenaries working for Cobra as part of operations based in the jungles of South America.

Head - MU Crossbones
Torso/Legs - Ret. Ultimate Roadblock
Arms - Ret. Wave 1 Plug n' Play Roadblock
Hands - MU Steve Rogers
Bracer - I THINK it's part of RoC Heavy Duty's arm.
Webgear - Wave 2.5 Nailgun-Kata Roadblock with blade sheathes removed and pouches put in their place, and an extra metal plate off Ult. Roadblock's gear for the left side of the chest. Trooper holster on the back modded to hold tazer.
AK - Unsure, not Hasbro
Pistol - 30th Trooper
Tazer - PoC Shock Trooper
Knife - Half MU Punisher, half Ult. Roadblock

Q, C, & C welcome!

I....actually like it. I'd copy it (mostly) if I had the parts. I'd lose the lame Hasbro pistol and paint up the taser, though.

The 47 is Marauder, by-the-by.

I may send the webgear out for casting if someone wants to cast it (and if there's some interest in the thing), since I hate the fuck out of all the knife sheathes on the original and thought it would be more multi-functional this way.

Small update:

Different vest, smaller pouches, added the belt from BBI Corba. (Got that idea from KT's LJ I think.)

Awesome job! I just don't know if I see it as Skullbuster, I think the head still looks a little too similar to its Crossbones base for me to see it as anyone else. In any case, it's a really well done figure.

I may eventually round off the top of the skull paint and remove the uh.. 'racing stripe' to give it more of a Skullbuster vibe, but since my paints are still buried, this is what y'all get. ;)

Haha fair enough, I definitely think that rounding the paint on top would help.
