Jazwares 4" MK9 Scorpion

Got this guy tonight and figured i would throw a quick review and some pics. I dont play many video games, but the few I do play i seem to play forever. MK is one of those games. any version, I will play it, so when I saw 4" figures were coming I had to have them. Scorpion is not bad at all. He has the same articulation as a Joe. My particular figure has loose knee joints and pretty bad paint. Both these are easilly fixable for me so I am not worried there. He came with his Spear but I added the chain. He also came with a loose sword that is the same as the swords on his back. Very flimsy sword ( rubbery), It went right in my bin. The spear is hard plastic. There are no peg holes in his feet. I drilled them in on mine already. All in all I like this figure, and I look forward to getting all the rest at Christmas.

Looks like we're getting at least 4.25 , for 4" now. Uuugh... pick a scale already.

Looks pretty crappy too.

When did Scorpion get so... bedazzled? What's with all the ornamenting? Not as bad a figure as I was expecting, but these toy companies have got to quit with the lame swords and blades that curl when you so much as look at them.

From about MK5 onward I think.

Hmm, that makes sense. The last one I played was MKTrilogy, back in early college days. So, it's been awhile.
