new 1/18 F/A-18 Hornet and 1/32 F-4 Phantom?

Badcat says there are rumors of new 1/18 F/A-18 Hornets in 2012 and new 1/32 F-4 Phantoms.
I assume this means repaints of BBI's F/A-18 similar to its F-16 repaint and repaints of its 1/32 F-4J Phantom "Jolly Rogers".

They'd fucking do it, fact that the Hornet and Super Hornet share exactly the forward fuselage and nothing else be damned.

I'm not sure they share even that much. Rhinos are larger in almost every way and have that two man cockpit. The front's shaped the same, but I don't know about the dimensions of it. Still funny how they slipped in a new airframe under the facade of it being a variant of an existing one... Slick...

I think the C/D and E share the front. I think Bbi's is an A, so it'd be even more ridiculous.

I use them to indicate intent. People on the interwebs have a habit of misunderstanding things without visual cues. Nothing's worse than somebody embarrassing themself getting all worked up because they couldn't grasp sarcasm or kidding.

Well that's decent news although the price will probably be fairly high. Nice to hear rumors of stuff being made again. Hopefully they can offer it for less than the secondary market.
