Loved this figure when I first got it, and I got 3 of them. They're still great, but some of the charm has worn off.
Still, it's a great modern troop-builder and makes a good generic soldier too. It never felt much like Hawk to me, but it doesn't have to. For me, it's Grunt, or a backup team of support for the Joes.

i snagged 4 from BBTS and still in my pile of loot. can't wait to get them once I decide to ship!
love the figure, but not enough to pre-order them...i figured the novelty would wear off and i'd regret the extra cost to get him online, so i told myself if i ever see him stores, THEN i would get him...i'm guessing now that i'll never see him...

Another great review. I still kick myself for changing my preorder from 6 to 4, but atleast I have some. This wave is yet to even appear in KC and we have 4 members hunting here.
No, Blanket and I use to be able to hunt in a pack last fall and Coby and Fink work as a team. If it's in the city, one of us will see it.
Me neither, actually. Although Hawk's been through some radical changes before, I guess I just have to roll with it.
But it's an excellent figure... and an excellent review.
I was lucky to get him discounted coz I bought a 200usd lot from a store, but thats because I got items for my friends as well.

Check the one-shot thread, he stated where it was from... I'll have to dig it up, because I liked the tent as well.
Its from Lanard. I was looking to have it reproduced in some way, but its quite hard since it has some wire support to keep the shape. if its just plain textile it wouldnt be a problem.
Some people at TS118 were able to make custom tents, will post when i find it.
