Survivor Little Bird Pilot

Finished my first painting on a custom bare cast. Holy crap, flesh tone is hard to mix!
I received this head in a trade, and since I needed a pilot for my post-apocalypse Little Bird, figured he'd be a good match.
Popped him on a repainted storm shadow, and here he is doing his thing.

I had to scrub it off twice, but I think he turned out okay. Those better paints were the key, and thin layers as well.

My Green Stuff arrived, so now on to some real customs

The paint is really good, so I won't give you too much of a hard time about the incompatibility of American aircraft radio sockets and Russian tank crew helmet plugs. :trollface:

Ha! Thanks, KT. I figure since his crew scavenged this post-collapse (where the hell fuel would come from, anyway?) there wouldn't be much use for the radio
