That's pretty cool. I wonder how strong the motor is on that? That could be sweet with some ghetto camo pattern and a few Prince of Persia figures.

I'm keeping my eye out for a good 1:18 pickup in-stores so I can do a good technical.

The gunner on that one looks like a drawing.

Yeah, they are tiny.

I need a good technical and a Landcruiser. Silver or two toned like Fleds. I wish there were Tacomas available like at BJ's (similar to Costco).

Someone on the tank made a technical for their Drednoks, looked pretty nice but I forget what they used.

If it's the one I think it is, 1:32 scale...about right for little green army men.

I got some of the Chap Mei ones and they are decent. You see them occasionally on e bay.

The ones I got are actually not too bad. The scale is good and a little paint and they are decent. I'll have to dig them out and look how the scale is with figures. They fit in the cabin nicely.

I know there's a 1:18 pickup out there somewhere. Hell the gun is the hard part.

Does a technical carry a specific weapon? I thought they were equipped with whatever...M60, recoiless, rocket launcher, etc.?

Mostly DShK(M)s, but I've more ambition that that, and want to do a anti-aircraft gun.

Hell, I've heard of them mounting Russian aircraft rocket pods.

an M2 would just be half-hearted.

True, but anything else would look huge on a Schleich SUV (stretched though it may be). :)

A couple of Russian UB-32 rocket pods would look cool too.

I get what'cher sayin', but I gotta save my M2 for a Huey mount.

Playmobil are at least a full inch shorter than Joes, so you're gonna have some cab work to do, as well.

You are correct. I'm planning to get one anyway, to see just how much modification is needed.
I was thinking about making it into a vehicle that's seen a lot of action. Dented and rusted panels, no roof or windscreen, dodgy welded rollbar and grill guard, etc...

See, I get over-excited about stuff.

There's an SUV in the new Secret Agent line that might work, too.

Look for stores that carry Farm Toys.. thats usually where you can find them, or Amazon.com.

But they are 1/16th scale.. lets see if I can find one of my comparison pictures..

Makes Joes look like midgets.
