The Cobra Overlord was my first Cobra figure as a child, he'll always hold a place in my heart even though he's overlooked throughout most of Joe history.
I set about creating a proper Overlord figure that would do him justice, I mean....he tried to kick the Commander out of his high chair!
Yes, there was that part he played in the DDP Joe comics, but I dont count those. Because...well...they suck.
so....I created a new story for MY Overlord.
In MY Joeverse, The Overlord is in fact DR Mindbinder!!! Having grown so weary of the bungling nonsense the Commander brings to the Cobra table, and tortured by his failed experiment that was Serpentor... Mindbender decided to take matters into his own hands. Donning the disguise of the Overlord, Mindbender was able to win a lot of the Cobra forces over to his side spouting speeches of taking Cobra back to its core values as a RUTHLESS TERRORIST Organization determined to RULE the WORLD!!
