True, true. But I ain't gots 1k to spend on a collector's piece. Not for a pistol, at least. If I'm going to spend that much on something it better be either an M14 or a matching serials-scoped M1D

You mean to say you would hop on a war-production 1911A1 if you could? ;)

1000K won't touch an M14 or a M1A. :( Hell, that might not even get you a numbers-matching 98K.

Ok, I'd jump on that. But at least I can get parts for it if it needs it.

They're in that price range, 1-2K. I still haven't figured out why M14s are so expensive, especially if they're still being produced.

Well, M14s are a military firearm. Kinda funny, it's really a Garand on steroids. I have no clue why Springfield Armory is asking in the area of 1700 for theirs, they don't even use forged parts, do they?

All this RDR and pistol talk makes me want to go get one of those new production Smith & Wesson Model 3s.

It really is a beefed up Garand. I mean, mini-14/15s are nearly the same gun, but go for less than half the price. Tell me how that makes sense. I don't think the parts are forged, no.

I'm not too into cowboy shooters, but I can appreciate the aesthetic.

I don't see the point of owning a wheel gun if it DOESN'T have the cowboy aesthetic. ;)

Good point, good point. The Nagant pistol is super cheap. I wouldn't say no to a decent priced Webley or M1917 though.

The Targets near me seem to have both the Bradleys and the Abrams. One has them in green, the other in tan. Weird. I have yet to see a LAV at a Target though. Guess they arent as popular.

The LAVs from Unimax were about 3 steps backwards from bbi's. I'm pretty sure Paul has a review up on the frontpage.

Neither would I, at least ona Webley.

Back on topic, i rarely get out to my Target, but they were still carrying the vehicles, and the Post Exchange had them for a time, as well.

I know PCS but when you have nothing, even poor versions are better than none. Still pissed they didnt release that stryker.

You get 6 US or 6 Germans, but the are packed as 3 of each version. So 3 green Germans (awesome) and 3 spotted Germans (horrible) for around $40.

Atleast the US guys match each other.

I really wish Target would get those back.

Not yet. Thinking about it. That or a Nagant pistol. They're both so cheap, it's hard to resist.
My grandfather left us this....

My little brother just bought one of those Nagant pistols, it is wicked cool. the cylinders come forward to increase compression. I was blown away with the quality of his, a lot of those Russian firearms are crude.
