I was hoping to see that sculpt released ever since I saw the prototype pic and I could not be more disappointed. It's such a shame.
Liefeld Syndrome aside it had some great potential. I can't quite put my finger on what MOS he'd fit into, but It'll come to me.
The production head looks familiar. Some vintage figure had a funky helmet that was kind of like that.

I believe it was meant to be Clutch as well, although it's easy to see a resemblance to ole Chrome-Dome without that bald head being painted up.
looks like it definitely had potential...but for whatever reason, almost everything in see in grey resin proto form looks crazy bada$$...and then not so much in production form...turing it into a CVS pile of garbae certainly didnt help
man, it's depressing. i wouldn't of even wasted time and talent scuplting some dope shit just to make it a useless 1977 figure.
