I'm torn...On the one hand, it's almost incontestable that practically anyone could have did better than George Lucas. On the other, that's the dumbass from That '70s Show and one of the worst possible choices for Eddie Brock imaginable.

Basically erased the whole first movie, which I am mostly OK with, but there were some good parts to the lore that could have been kept I feel.

I get what it tries to do, & parts of it are good, but a lot of characters are minimized to the point of who are you?
Fan edits are fun but editing things out is not enough, as its not really possible to go & reshoot scenes & add story, if you weren't the original producers to begin with.

There was someone who edited IV, V and VI with MUCH better FX than the actual realesed films to help them blend more seamlessly with the technology of I, II, and III...basically made the blasters look better, the graphics on computer screens, etc...wish i knew how to find full versions...
Found a torrent yesterday and watched it last night. It was ok. I liked that he re-integrated the deleted scenes.
