Yeah phpBB is open source and free.. so there is tons of stuff out there, and you can make it super sweet with the front page integration etc, its nice.. but its such a pain to work with. I was pulling my hair out trying to get simple things like the image resizing.. and that delay after posting drives me nuts.
And none of this! No visitor messages! so many little things it doesnt have seemed crazy.
maybe a little rockstar.. I had to do everything here from memory.. but its ok I got to fix a few things that were broke last time.. so we'll see...
I'm trying to get everything tested this time.. I was in such a rush earlier to get SOMETHING up that I went with phpBB.. it seems like it should be great, but there are so many issues.. I worked from 12noon till 7pm on that beast you see over there.. I worked from like 10pm to now on this.
