    WPL’s Radio control 1/16 E1/ GAZ 71

I know, that’s why I wonder who does the actual scale measurements on something like this. I haven’t gotten up the courage to disassemble it yet because I’m waiting for someone else on YouTube to customize theirs first. I might have to lower the seat as well as cutting out the floor so a...

    WPL’s Radio control 1/16 E1/ GAZ 71

The real ones are supposed to be good for swampy land, snow etc… It’s like having a tracked pickup truck.

    WPL’s Radio control 1/16 E1/ GAZ 71

For anyone interested in this tracked vehicle by WPL, I finally got mine a few days ago in the mail. I’ve painted the cargo canopy dark gray because it came bright white. I may be able to get a smaller figure in it, but I will have to cut out the floor area to fit. I may just pop a figure in two...

    Radio Shack M551 Sheridan 1/24?

Yes, I remember the M60’s well. I was at Fort Polk in the 5th Infantry division in the early 80’s.

    Radio Shack M551 Sheridan 1/24?

So I finally got it in hand and it’s not really a bad rendition of the M551 Sheridan light tank. The package screams late 70’s early 80’s although I can’t find any dates or any information online so far. I’ve always had a thing for toy tanks that represented an actual tank model instead of...

    Radio Shack M551 Sheridan 1/24?

Yah, I don’t have it in hand yet, these photos are from the eBay auction. Even if it’s not compatible with 3 3/4 figures I will display it amongst my armored vehicles which range from 1/16 RC’s to a all metal Tippco Panzer I from the 1930’s 😎👍

    Radio Shack M551 Sheridan 1/24?

I never knew this existed until I stumbled across it on eBay (home of lost treasures) looking for a RC Sheridan. This is listed as a programmable battle tank, whatever that means. I jumped on it because it looks like it has potential. Anyone here have one of these or known the true scale?

    MTF - Vietnam

I am slowly getting my Vietnam game together. I just ordered these “GI Joe” old school heads from RAGINSPOON’s website and can’t wait to add a couple Green Berets to the mix, 1960’s style 🙂

    Observations about scale 🧐

At one time or another I tried to display a 1/6 Stuart tank, the 1/6 M3 White scout car and a couple Hasbro jeeps. My wife didn’t think that was a good idea. I still have a RC Stuart tank that needs repair and the jeeps as well out in the shed. Unfortunately I sold the white scout car because...

    Observations about scale 🧐

I was born in the early 60’s and grew up with the original GI Joe and army men. My dad was in the army and I loved anything military. I got too big for toys about 12-13 when my dad introduced me to hunting and my brother inherited my toys. I got married and joined the army at the age of 18 and...

    Observations about scale 🧐

Man, you make me feel old, I got married in 1982 😬

    Observations about scale 🧐

All of my 1/32 is packed up in the shed. A lot of it is from the 60’s to 70’s stuff, Airfix, Marx, Werner, Timmee, etc… I scarfed up some 21st century armor and a few other pieces but all these will have to wait for the boys to get older. I think 7 to 10 years old is the best age range for toy...

    Observations about scale 🧐

I have two grandsons, one is 4 1/2 and his older brother is almost 6. For Christmas I got them both 4 inch GI Joes from the retro collection and also one each of the 6 inch Joes (Duke & Flint) They already had some 1/18 scale and GI Joe vehicles like the awe striker and other brands that fit 4...
