I never knew this existed until I stumbled across it on eBay (home of lost treasures) looking for a RC Sheridan. This is listed as a programmable battle tank, whatever that means. I jumped on it because it looks like it has potential. Anyone here have one of these or known the true scale?

Yah, I don’t have it in hand yet, these photos are from the eBay auction. Even if it’s not compatible with 3 3/4 figures I will display it amongst my armored vehicles which range from 1/16 RC’s to a all metal Tippco Panzer I from the 1930’s 😎👍

So I finally got it in hand and it’s not really a bad rendition of the M551 Sheridan light tank. The package screams late 70’s early 80’s although I can’t find any dates or any information online so far. I’ve always had a thing for toy tanks that represented an actual tank model instead of generic toys. I think my 60 mm GI’s will fit in well however as you can see from the 4 inch figure it’s about 1/24 scale more or less. It seems to be mint condition and as soon as I get a couple c batteries I’ll see if it works. There’s no water damage on the packaging so that’s a plus. If anyone has further knowledge of this toy or when it was released please respond. Half the fun of collecting old military toys is learning about their manufacturers and such. Hope these pictures spark some good memories for my fellow collectors 😎👍 ***UPDATE*** So I was able to find a online site with radio shack flyers and catalogs and this was listed in 1983 around Christmas.

Yes, I remember the M60’s well. I was at Fort Polk in the 5th Infantry division in the early 80’s.
