I am going to try and work a story into this shot. I have a few too many I want to do but I had to get something done.

Just wanted to give SIC DETH props for another awesome building he did for me. Yet again adding great detail and even little bonus' like posters on the inside. The man is an artist. Quite possibly the Van Gogh of 3 3/4". Here's some shots of the finished work:

Thank you. :p I wasn't going to give up my "sponge" secret but by sponge technique I really mean tea bagging with paint on the taint. Good eye on seeing that. I figured it would be good for that and possibly if it was near a wooded area. I wasn't sure it the gray might be too much but...

Seriously! That thing looks ready to take out 1:18th of a coast. Trying to move that thing around to evade an air attack could really be a challenge. What's the top speed on that pig? That missile is as big as the town I live in. :eek:

That is made out of plywood? Wow! Now that's very impressive. You have quite a talent. That takes some patience and dedication.

I thought those first couple pictures were real. That's really impressive TH. The detail is awesome! Is he holding toilet paper in the last shot? :p I really like how you did the B&W photo with the grain. That's a real nice touch.

There has to be a clear coat at a craft store. I use spray ones from wal mart. There is a craft one and a stronger one. The craft one is good for diorama pieces and the other is good for vehicles. I'm sure Michael's has something though.

Maybe spray it down with a matte finish when you are done. This way if you do a scene and want to use blood or something it comes off easy and does not get in the pores. Other than that you really nailed this. The sidewalk looks fine. If you go any darker it won't look too realistic. This...

This is looking pretty good so far Rick. If you can do some netting on the back like you mentioned and then weather it you got a winner. Do you have any sand bags for around the gunner? That would probably be a pretty nice touch too.
