    I think I'll go the starter route and see how I do with that then... Are hobby stores like Hobby Lobby a good place to get that kinda thing or is picking something up online a better idea? Maybe I should also ask what a good starter kit/set would be...

    Depends on how good you are at painting...woodland is more difficult as it's harder to get detailing/weathering to show up than it is on tan schemes...

    If you score styrene, it breaks easily where you scored it even along curves...just make sure to hit the edges with something to take off the knife like edge the process creates... Too long?...heck no!...once you get some height on top with a turret or whatever you might add, it'll all even...
