Some more micro progress. Got some more of the cockpit interior done. And used expanding foam to fill the fenders. Here's a look at the pair....

Yep. Took me just over an hour to add those fins to both (watched an episode of The Walking Dead to keep me occupied.)

Last update for today: added the cooling fins, or whatever they're suppose to be (always thought the engine was in back of the driver.)

Got the outer fenders on, and sprayed the bottom sections...

I finally found someone to upsize the stock sticker sheet too. (In vinyl.) So that should really help pull off the V1 look.

That looks awesome! Great work on it.

Here's an example of how time consuming this project is: I wanted to mount the rear gun. I had to cut out a section of the back, so it would sit lower. Then I screwed the gun base down. Then reworked the sides to hide the section I cut out. This took an hour and a half. And it looks like nothing.

Yeah. I figure it's really not much more work. It would be worse to finish one, then start the second. Ran out of styrene, so I couldn't get the other finished.

I've tried the lighting with poor results in the past, so I don't think I'll try it here. But I do love the idea.
