    Broken Arrow Toys

People hate uncertainty, and dealing with BA is the ultimate uncertainty. You don't know when or if you'll get a package, and you don't even have the ability to check the status of anything because you're either ignored or admonished for being such a PITA for asking. It's not hard to see why...

    Broken Arrow Toys

I think nearly everyone in the greater joe community has a similar story. I just got an order I placed last april, one piece worth about $10, supposedly "in stock" when I ordered it. However, nothing about BA surprises me. I avoid dealing with him unless he just has something...

    Marvel Masterpieces?

Ah, the X-men series 1 set. I love that set. Those were the absolute pinnacle of comic cards, none better before or since.

    MU update

HTS still exists? It's been a loooooong time since I ordered anything from them. I've got a better shot at finding a good figure at Ross (next to the slightly irregular ladies wear and the malasian tennis shoes.)

    Marvel: Phase Two

I did forget about GR.... mostly because I didn't see either of them. I hate Blade too. Ok, I'll admit that marvel occasionally has a clunker, but they're batting .700-.800 On the other hand, name a non-Nolan DC film that didn't suck donkey balls in the last twenty years. I dare you!

    Marvel: Phase Two

Yeah, Daredevil and Electra were crappy, but the X-Men, Spider-Man, Cap, IM, Thor, Avengers... all really good. I even thought the Punisher films were well done (not critical successes, but exactly what I want from Punisher movies...) That's a stunningly good run of films, compared to DC...

    Marvel: Phase Two

It's funny to me that DC can't make a good superhero movie (with a couple of Nolan exceptions) while Marvel is pretty much can't-miss in recent years. Yet on the flip side, when it comes to cartoons, both network and direct-to-video, DC knocks it out of the park while no amount of writing...

    MU update

That, and it irks me that the three or four other items I'd like to order to mitigate the shipping cost are sold out.

Anyone got a link to those AF heads? Somehow I can't seem to find them.

    Professor X!!!

There are a fair number of figs with grey upper legs that you could pair with DG Shipwreck lower legs. Not perfect, but not bad without paying through the nose.

    MU update

Huh, that is odd. I'd buy an X-Force Angel for $15... but I've never been willing to pay ebay prices as they were.

G.I. Kre-O, Kre-O, MegaBloks CoD and LEGO discussions

My TRU put out one case, which was quickly ravaged like the meat counter in a third-world grocery store. It's never been restocked. I ordered a bunch straight from TRU.com and ebayed the couple I was missing. I'll likely bite on the H&R, but I think I'm going to pass on the 6-pack unless it's...

    Head sculpt suggestion thread

How about Conan the Barbarian (either a Barry Windsor Smith or John Buscema likeness)? Or something that would work for a He-Man/Prince Adam? I know SDS had a head for their Thundarr torso that was passable for He-Man, but it was a bit of a stretch.

sonofabitch, now on top of whatever con exclusive 4" crap I feel compelled to buy, I'm going to have to shell out $25 for an exclusive lego guy too?! I swear, they are trying to make me throw up my hands and just walk away.

Sometimes it's hard to justify, no matter who designed it. You have to really want a specific head to pay that kind of money for it. In other threads around here, we lament paying $10 for a new figure at retail, but somehow I can pay $75 for five unpainted heads... it makes no damn sense...

Well, the price is crazy. If a caster tried to sell me some heads at $12-15 each, I'd invent some new words to call him. But I know the 3D printing isn't cheap, GB's head sculpts are awesome, and they usually arrive within 10 days or so (unheard of for *most* casters). I know GB has had a few...
