    Iron Man 3

I think the IM3 Marvel Legends (oddly not actually branded as IM3, just "Iron Man Marvel Legends") look pretty good. The bleeding edge IM is a new sculpt and looks good. The other two in the first wave are repaints. But the BAF is iron monger and looks pretty cool. I saw the pegs for these...

Moderating over there would be depressing... like being a judge in the special olympics (you know, without all the heart warming Corky moments).

Well, no one likes to buy something and then get nothing in return. Human nature. It's all in the way it's handled. Some are more aggressive than others, some are more understanding while others are mean-spirited. Some of it may be predicated on how much was at stake. Person A might sit by...

Our whole site is an arena. We don't have many uncivil conversations around here, but I'm glad we don't ban or quarantine sensitive topics. Let people get it out of their systems. Besides, as much as we go off topic, it's a wonder we even have threads. The whole place could just be one big...

Everyone played Oregon Trail!.... and it was fun until that one kid figured out that you could go to the outpost and buy -$100 worth of bullets, which gave you $100 worth of bullets AND $100. Then the challenge was gone.

Good lord, man. You guys were a decade behind! My dad was a junkie. He wrote all his own DOS-based software. We has multiple TRS-80's (model I, model II, model 12) with 8" floppies... then we got an Apple IIGS (VGA!), then a x386, and I took a x486 25MHz IBM to college. Computers everywhere.

Oh shit! You barely remember Reagan! You practically missed the FCC blind eye to all things advertising in children's programming. You poor, poor kid. I got two words. Golden Era.

Same here, I would always hang out in the toy section for 30-45 minutes while my mom grocery shopped. I cannot imagine leaving my kids alone in WM for five minutes, much less 45. Of course the store was small, the town was small (we practically knew everyone), and life was different. Funny, I...

We had Children's Palace just a quarter mile from TRU. Those were some prolific toy hunting days, and my grandmother was always accommodating. Hills and Watsons were both small-chain stores that always had slightly different stock than the big toy stores. Nice place to hunt for hard-to-find...

My mom was into oldies, my dad listened to country, and my older sister listened to top-40. The Footloose soundtrack was my very first real cassette (that wasn't a kid story or something). I was only nine, and I wore that mother out.

I had one of those (one of the later models w/o cassette)! And it was such a PITA to get it to respond to voice commands. I asked for it for x-mas because I fancied myself having a robot butler, like R2-D2... yet after spending hours just to get it to move across the room, I just decided to...

Ok, I'm a late '74, so we're not far apart. How did you not own any music cassettes in the 80's? VHS?! Hell, I was taping Dukes of Hazzard on my betamax in the late 70's! My dad bought two so we could tape movies from the store onto blanks and watch them over and over. Good times.
