    Marvel Universe SDCC 2011

Yeah, I need several sets of absorbing man arms for all the MOTU 4" figures I'm planning to make with the SDS torsos. Either that, or I need sleeveless Thor movie figures to go on clearance.

    Marvel Universe SDCC 2011

Honestly, they took the five characters that are literally flooding the market at every turn and put them together in one pack that nobody wants. I can see it being mildly popular around x-mas because grandma doesn't know that everyone has spidey & iron man coming out their ears already... but...

I like the new Magneto too. And Mr Sinister, probably my favorite x-villain ever. This is all kinds of win. ML Hope Summers?! cool!

    Captain America figures

Tons of images over @ TNI of SDCC preview night. Showing lots of new MU and ML figures! I won't bother listing here, but there are quite a few that look great. Psylocke!!! Hurray! http://marvelousnews.com/

    recarding supplies

Hey, does anyone know where I can find some blisters / bubbles for some recard work? I'm a MOC ARAH collector, and I want to display some modern stuff along side their vintage counterparts. But obviously, vintage vehicle drivers and mail aways never had cards, and some modern figures like...

    Slayer's Club ARAH

I realize that most folk have moved on exclusively to 25th style figures, but for the few of you that still enjoys the o-rings, Slayer is embarking on a new endeavor that you might find interesting. It appears that by member vote, the first figure will be Pythona, and based on the voting, I'll...

    Transformers Origin

GREAT reading! I love Jim Shooter... not every idea he had was great, but he was a no-bullshit kind of guy, and he made the trains run on time at Marvel for years. His honesty is refreshing in this PC world we now live in. Plus he talks about how TFs got started. Very cool...

    wave 14 MU

Of this wave, I am getting: Dr Strange - not because I love the figure, but I feel the need to flesh out my Bendis-era New Avengers. Dr Doom - because it looks better than the comic pack version; not sure if it really is, but the photos look nice. Scarlet Spider - because it's the one character...

    Captain America figures

Yeah, I might buy a Red Skull or Crossbones if I see them, but the only figure I really wanted from the line was Captain Britain. I really like that character from back in the early Claremont/Davis Excalibur days. Just looking at the multitude of Cap figures on the pegs (that I'm in no way...

    Marvel Q&A-Due 8/5/11

They aren't as good as Joe hips, but they are vastly better than those ML-style ball hips used on the various Marvel movie-line figures. Those look and function extremely awkward IMO. When are we going to see some better looking female characters? The female buck currently used is terrible...

WOW! - There are 153 Characters so far in MU.

That was probably the "first-apperance" version that came out in the Cable/Apocalypse wave. It's circa Hulk 181 drawn by Herb Trimpe in the 70's. Not my cup-o-tea, but I'm sure some will go for it.

WOW! - There are 153 Characters so far in MU.

You kids, get off my lawn! ;) The 90's just suffered from trying excessively hard to be completely awesome and x-treme!!!! It's like that goofy kid in school that went over the top trying way too hard to impress the other children. Don't get me wrong, I loved all that stuff at the time just...

Omega Red is D-list at best. He's a product of the 90's, and thus by definition, he sucks donkey balls. QED.

It's odd, the w2 Captain Britain has been in my BBTS PoL for nearly a week. So I guess Hasbro is already shipping some of that next batch.

    Marvel Q&A-Due 8/5/11

oddball, no need to wait for Marvel, we've got your answers... -an upcoming Sue Storm was already shown at ToyFair in a 3-pack with Mr Fantastic and Herbie. -there have been several fan's choice figures already. I think Havok, Archangel, & Mary Jane for sure and maybe one more. And yeah...

    marvel haul ...

Appearance-wise, I have to vote for Modern Thor. I'm not even a huge Thor fan, but that was a sweet figure. I also really like the Colossus figure, so much better than that Wolverine Origins version with the horrible face.
