Since the model was molded in grey, I needed a mass assembly way of making it khaki. My solution drew a lot of looks from the wife and was about 90% effective. Unfortunately it was windy making it where I could only spray in two directions and causing me to miss some angles on a few sprues. Good enough for a start. I also messed up and bought RustOleum, not Krylon so it’s not going to become one with the plastic. We’ll see if this bites me in the ass during weathering. I can already tell how different it is as it dries.

I got 2 of 15 steps done under infant duress. Instructions leaves critical things out like how to make the wheels roll and the suspension is super complex with metal pins and metal springs, yet it doesn’t function once assembled. The steering works so far. It’s a challenging kit.

Krylon is far, far superior to RustOleum for plastics. It was a rash decision when I bought the paint a few weeks ago, not planned, so I just grabbed the ultra flat camo can not noticing it wasn’t Krylon Fusion until the morning I was painting. I can easily scratch this paint off the sprue with my thumbnail, so will have to be extremely picky for the final clear coat. Has to be a laquer.

My brain still has a hard time wrapping around the size.

Trickle trickle. Painted a bunch of parts black today like the inside of doors and inside of fenders, then glued the interior together. No way any figures are fitting in the backseat, but the window is so small you’d never see them anyways. I’m really glad I bought the kit and have something so unique in my very small collection.

Did I get it from you originally? I know someone on the interwebs was generous enough to donate it to my ultimately failed RC conversion project. I only know of 1 other 21C Bradley with full suspension and individually linked treads.

I thought that was the one. Wasn’t sure when you mentioned Garrison.

I don’t think that was ever an actual pattern. Probably just the paints they had lying around the Chinese factory.

I’m guessing the rest of the bulk is armor. We’ve lost thousands to IEDs and ambushes with lesser armored equipment.
