Here is a good thread to talk about random sci-fi figures. I'll start it off with a new D-Arts Mega/Rock Man I just got. He comes in right at about 4" and would be almost perfect if his head and feet weren't so big.

A few you might also consider (although these are various scale figures):

Assemble Borg
(Denys Fisher) Cyborg, Muton, Android (70s re-issue of the 8'' Shonen Cyborgs)
Henshin Cyborg
Microman
Micronauts

Again, I've got a few pics of some of these toys if they'll help:

I was looking up info about the Masuda company because they made some old sci-fi windup robots from Forbidden Plant and Lost in Space.

I found their website and found out the make construction toys too... Oh bad marketing descisions

Some more odd robots I have come across are the Rock em Sock em Robot ring party gifts.

They would fit in with 1:18 but they don't come with legs so those would have to be procured from somewhere else.

The little levers on their back actually make them punch.
