Thread for vehicles that are usable in 1:18th scale.....

So I just saw the Ghostbusters 1:18th scale car "with figure" For some reason I was hoping it would be a Ghostbuster, leading to a possible 1:18th scale line. Silly me

When I bite the bullet. I'm ordering the slimer from AF & buying the cheaper car already made.

Any cars out there that can actually fit a figure without modifying it. (Ya I know the answer already)

Depends on the figures and cars in question. I can actually get Jakks UFC figures in the front seat of an Ertl '57 Bel Air.

Motorcycles are generally fine with female riders. Fellas tend to look too large

A-Team van works, The Ertl Speed Racer Mach 5 does not without removing figures legs, but looks like it would work with the 3" movie figures if you wanted to put a Speed in it.

60s Batmobile 1:18
Had to take the car apart (Batgirl did fit in without modifying it.
Since this pick I replaced Batman with a more period looking Batman (Cut off the grey/blue cartoony legs on Batman)

I just bought the Bruder Land Rover Defender with horse trailer. It was listed as 1:16 scale but I "heard" it works. I guess we'll see when I get back home.

I also bought the Bruder Jeep Wrangler with CAT Tractor and trailor. Also in 1:16

Dont be a smartass and say the thread says 1:18 scale.

It's 1:16, of course figures are gonna fit. Just don't park it next to anything in 1:18. :trollface:

Debating if I should get that one or the Jazwares one

There's that camper that was available at TRU express a few years ago...and now only seems available in Germany and other European countries.

I doubt the Hot Wheels one works without substantial work.


The Jazwares one works with figures, but it needs work to make it great.

Don't know about Hot Wheels A-Team, I have the movie van and it works for me.

1:18 scale or vehicles that work with figures? I like the movie a-team van I think its 1:18

I have several of the bruder mack trucks...they look awesome with figures in them but are little on the big side.

I also got some ertl John deere stuff and figures look good in them...not sure on the scale but its probably 1:16

Also KITT from diamond select but I thinks its actually classified at 1:15

Joe stuff of course, PTE are 1:18th but I'm not sure if the true heroes is...some of it seems a little big and some seem a little small, but they are fun to play with.

ertl put out some cars back when I was a kid, that fit o-ring figs...I still have the General Lee from dukes of hazard but not sure if modern figures fit...will have to check that out this weekend. It is 1:18

I know its a funny name and I think I still have it but there was a company that made pretty decent quality but cheap looking toys...no paint apps just molded plastic. I think the one I had was a late 70s early 80 camaro but was called gay toys, co. If you google that please put 1:18 or cars or something else with it...if you search for gay toys, the results won't be pretty

That's true, Gay Toys did make a few 1:18th stuff, even a diesel truck and trailer. And as was stated, all molded in color.

I have a John Deer lawn mower and trailer I can re-post a picture of if you like. I'll keep it out otherwise since it's not a "vehicle".

There is e.g. the die-cast Willy's Jeep from UT. Attached is a picture of one I repainted. You also get to fit figures into the New Beetle Cabriolet of the Burago Brand.

Got the same one thinking it would work.
Mulling over if I want to bite the bullet and mod it to hold one figure or not.
But I also have the Batman Begins Batmobile that could be modded to hold two figs side by side. . .

The Hot Wheels 89 Batmobile isn't worth the trouble to mod. It would be nice if it fit a figure but the inside details are better as is. This is going to be a deplay piece for me along easier to mod Batmobiles.

Well here is a picture of some of them. Personally I like the custom one the best, but the DK Joker is decent enough. Injustice has one coming out soon, IJ figures tend to be 50/50 on quality so we will have to see if the new Joker is whole when taken out of the package.
