Armored Iron Grenadier -- Classic IG Colors

Well, when the POC line gave us the Armored IG I was a bit disappointed, mainly becuase I was hoping for a cool revamped look but instead we got a weird camo version with Destros armor.
So I did what I knew needed to be done.. gave him the classic colors and I think it turned out really good.
I just wish they had the IG logos on them.
I have a comparison of the two.

I think I commented on this one over at HT, but I think it's awesome again!

I dig the new IG repaint of Destro (actually, I wish it'd just been an IG to begin with, or a new take on the S.A.W.-Viper) but I feel like they could've stuck with a darker gray on the torso to better go with the old-school deco.

i like this WAAAAAY better than what Hasbro gave us...very nice...only thing i think you should do is maybe add more red/gold accents...theres a lot of black going on there

I didn't know those shoulder and leg pads were removable. does the figure have enough range in motion with his arms to hold a standard assault rifle?

Simple, yet so effective. Way better paint scheme than what Hasbro gave us.

I'm pleasantly surprized that he looks good without all the armor. I may yet be able to build some IG forces.
