Custom 4" scale Alien Warrior from Alien: Resurrection

This is my latest custom. I love the Revoltech Alien Warrior but it was, in my opinion, too big for joe scale. When Hasbro re-tooled the Geonosian Warrior from the Star Wars line, I decided to take a stab at my own Super-poseable Alien Warrior. The figure can imitate almost every pose his Revoltech brother can and in a smaller scale. I've included Low Light to show scale

PARTS:
Body, Hands, Feet, Tail - Hot Toys Snap Kit Aliens Warrior
Arms, Legs - Geonosian Warrior
Head - Konami Alien Resurrection Warrior

He has ball joints in the shoulders, elbows, head, torso, hips, knees, high ankles, low ankles, feet and hands. The top of the head can be removed to show the brain underneath. The tail is bendable. I painted him with Vallejo paints and coated him with Future for that oh so creepy shine. Enjoy.

Man, that's pretty nice! Fairly good size to work in with the GI Joe line. That head is kick ass! How much do those kits run?

Not cheap, as they're several years old, now.

They're almost impossible to find now. They were running individually for between 10-20 bucks for a while, but now... I've only seen sets of figures going for between 100-200 dollars depending on if it's the AvsP or Aliens set. If someone knows a place to get these, let me know!

Nice work! While I personally don't care much for Alien:Res (I'm more an Alien/Aliens guy myself, hence the name), you've done some awesome work here. I especialy love the super glossy dome!

Had a similar idea for grafting my 2 Hot-Toy snap-Kit Aliens (from the 2nd film) onto some super slim Marvel Universe figures for maximum articulation.

Look into the Geonosian Arena Geonosian Warrior. The arms and legs blend well with the Alien torsos and the paint is almost a dead ringer for the light tan Alien Warriors.

From the Target-2 pack sets from 2010? Gah, only got one, unless some still linger on the shelves somewhere.

Your Alien just needs a bigger tail end (that they use for swimming in the underwater sequence). Apart from that extremely minor difference, a pretty flawless custom.

Yes the 2010 sets. You can these pretty cheap on ebay as most people bought it for the Kit Fisto pack in.


I tried to use the tail that came with the Konami figure, but it was made from hard plastic.
