Custom The Corps! Figure work

Hey-

I'm working on my first serious custom paint job for an action figure, the corps line, and I'm documenting the process on my blog.



So far, I've got the guy taken apart, sanded down, washed off and primed. I spent some time looking at ideas for a color scheme for this guy, and have decided to go with a black and gray look.



This is my first real action figure project. I've gotten some great suggestions from the folks over at hisstank.com, and one member over there suggested I come over here too. If you have any advice, I'd appreciate your thoughts since I'm still pretty green at this.

excellent. Off to a good start. My only real advice is practice, My early customs sucked, now I think I hit a mid level in customizing. There is some serious talent here, so there is lot to learn from them here. oh yeah, with painting, be sure to know how to do washes and drybrushing. The 2 together really brings out the details of the figure or vehicle.
