Here they are. Talk amongst yourselves.

1) Did the popularity of the 2010 and 2011 SDCC exclusives have any influence on the upcoming 7 packs and if not, what did?

Answer: This was definitely a consideration when it came to the early conception of these two 7-packs.

2) In the making of GI Joe movies, do the producers have to follow a design Hasbro has in mind or do they have creative freedom with characters?

Answer: Working with movie producers has been a really fun, collaborative process. Everyone puts ideas on the table and the best ideas make it into the movie and the product. The goal is to balance the desire to stay true to the heritage of the brand while also keeping the brand relevant and fresh for today's audience.

3) Was the lack of paint applications on the 30th anniversary Iron Grenadier done as a variation or cost cutting?

Answer: Partially. This was also done to create a separate version of this soldier, in case kids or collectors were creating an army.

Q: What is going to happen to Kwinn? We have many rumors of him filling the G.I. Joe SDCC 2012 Exclusive Slot.

A: The tooling for Kwinn has been completed and we love the figure as much as you do! We are still trying to determine the best place to release him strategically. There is not a final plan yet.

Q: What was the design choice behind the look for G.I. Joe Renegades Figures

A: No Answer.....

Q: Any chance we might see "The Hub" rotate in other GI Joe cartoon series? GI Joe Extreme hasn't been seen since 1997, Sigma Six since 2006 (and never even got a full showing of its episodes in the US), or even season 2 of the classic Sunbow series (which the Hub still hasn't aired)?

A: No Answer.....

man ill be pissed if they make kwinn a exclusive

Well unless they sneak Kwinn in a wave I have a suspicion he may end up at SDCC. It could easily be done too. They can use the Snake Eyes that had the skull jacket for one version and the UPS driver shorts for another. Get that F5 key ready!!

Unless they let the club have him for the 13th figure then that would be a huge kick in the teeth.

Here's joecanuck's:

Q1) Will the G.I. Joe Retaliation figure line see any big vehicles like the Pit for ROC, or will the focus be on the smaller Alpha wave vehicles?

Hasbro Answered:
1A: Our goal going in to the development of the movie line was to keep prices low even in the face of rising production costs. We have some really great vehicles at a great value in the line. We will reveal the line at New York Toy Fair in February and hope you like it as much as we do!

Joecanuck Asked:

Q2) It's been a while since Hasbro ran a fan poll for what we want to see made next. Is there any plans to run another survey "fans choice", and if so is it possible to do a vehicle this time around?

Hasbro Answered:
2A: As we mentioned in the previous Q&A, we love the idea and love hearing from our fans! There is currently no plan for a fans choice but is definitely something we will consider in the future.

Joecanuck Asked:

Q3) The 30th Anniversary SkyStriker is obviously a new mold but replicates the original almost perfectly. Can you give us some insight into how you reverse-engineered the original so successfully?

Hasbro Answered:
3A: The Skystriker project presented us with some unique challenges. To start, we did not have much time to execute the project. So we had to act fast! We found some samples of vintage Skystrikers and was able to build two or three nice ones out of the parts. Next, we worked with an expert model maker and tool-maker in the far-east to pain-stakingly recreate each of the parts digitally in a 3d Program. This allowed us to refine the detail and build in the new snaps and construction details we knew had to be there to pass the new, tougher safety standards we have today. The removable wings and nose also allowed us to fit the aircraft into a smaller box, letting us keep the toy at a great price for the consumer. At the same time, the model make re-fitted the cockpit to introduce the new design. When the process was finished, we were blown away by the results - and were able to meet and exceed our deadlines to make the project a reality. Effectively, making the dreams of our loyal fans a reality in the process.

Yea, that Sky Striker question actually had good information.

It's really stupid they are doing so many "no answer" responses now. It really makes it a pain to pick what to ask.

I'll be curious if Kwinn would be at SDCC since the movie will be out. Perhaps they will have movie exclusives for 2012? Or maybe a movie and Kwinn exclusive.

I forgot about the Movie. The SDCC will prolly be a Roadblock/Rock Figure this year. Maybe we will get Kwinn in 2013

Meh, he'll show up somehow in 2012. They won't have people pissed for a whole year. Maybe as a store exclusive or something silly like that. Who knows? All I know is I need a few for UPS drivers. :D

that's one yoked out UPS driver

Hey, they have to be able to lift at least 75 pounds. UPS drivers are either A)Big mo' fo's B)Scrappy little pricks that will bang your wife C) Bull dykes.

I think Kwinn will be A. If I could find one of those SWAT vans it would be perfect to convert to a UPS truck.

Just know we're gonna get shit like we did last movie, and for the last 20 years, really. Tiny vehicles, lots of stupid missiles and cheap, shiny plastic.

I wouldn't be surprised if they took the original Water Moccasin mold and did a new twin engine piece, or a tiny version of the MRAP we've seen on ET.

What can I say, I fucking HATE the Alpha vehicle slot.

Really he is right.^^^ Their track record speaks for itself. They've had a few hits and a whole lotta misses.
