I picked up a PTE Z-9 for a few bucks the other day and I'm trying to make it a little less sucky, does anyone have any ideas for how to make the door that swings open into a door that slides open?

Well, the Harbin's don't slide IRL, so they don't on the toy, either.

It's doable, you're gonna have to cut tracks into the fuselage, for starters.

IMO, its not worth the trouble...i made the windows slide on my Pave and it wasnt worth it...

All it really needs is a repaint. It's not like we're dealing with Hasbro product, here.

If it's an American release version it could definitely use some offensive hardware.

I gave mine almost the exact same paint job. Great minds, eh? It looks like you took the door off and glued it on an open position? I'm leaning toward that solution right now, though i'd really like to have it both open and closed.
