Also, if anyone buys this who wasn't part of the initial pre-order, I have a bunch of unused duckbill track made from the original hard plastic, which Pickel replaced. It's no good for using as tracks, but it's great for creating spare pieces to accessorize the tank.

Thanks, guys! I'm pretty happy with it, though I'm not sure if I can stand seeing the logs at an angle like that. It wasn't on purpose, but the rigging is all coated in glue and fastened to the tank with little U-shaped staples I made from pinning wire (not really wire—those straight metal pieces for pinning). It would be annoying to fix so I'm trying to leave it alone.

Logs aside, I really feel like this thing has weight in the picture. I can almost hear the gears and the crunch of the treads on the ground...

Very nice. I wish I had the desire to add a 1:16 Sherman to my collection, but I just hate the tank. Returned the 1:18 one to Target within days of buying it.
