Aren't the molds at the bottom of the Pacific in some freak ship accident?

No, that's a freighter full of those PoC Cock Master and Blowtorch figures. :D

I was expecting $20. but actually seeing the price makes it hard to pull the trigger. I hate to be that guy, but I think I'm going to wait and hope they go on clearance.

At least with that place if you do a bigger order it is free shipping on the items. Helps out a little bit if you want all of them.

They really don't look like $20 figures from a quality standpoint.

They look to "cheap" to me, some of the details are there, but I dunno. Remind me of the Micromen figures that came out 5 or so years ago.

And it's about style too. For me, the ARW stuff is more of what I'd want from an alternate "military" line. These things just don't appeal to me as much.

I guess it depends on quality of it and what type of use you can get out of it. I am leaning more towards the Hardballer if I get a mech. Is a good amount of scratch for it though.

I was excited about these at a $10 price point, but $20+ I think I'll pass, at least for now. Until someone gets them in hand and can show actual pics, I'm not paying $20+ for those figures. I won't collect that line, they will just be custom fodder for me, and $20 is too much for fodder unless it has 85% usable pieces for something.

I like the figures, don't get me wrong, but they definitely remind me of the failed Video Game All Stars line from a few years back with the Crysis and Assassin's Creed figures, which were decent, but would've been underwhelming as hell for any more than they were selling for.

I think they said $20 was the targeted pricepoint the whole time, which makes sense considering the (likely) limited production runs. Still.. nothing is really "WOWING" me about them.

Probably need some "in hand" photos to really gauge the value.

I'm not saying the price is a surprise, or isn't supported by necessity. I am saying that from the pics I've seen they don't appear to be quality figures.

I agree that I definitely need to have some in-hand shots before I can form more than a cursory opinion.

That was more in reference to SWG saying he was excited for these at a $10 price. From those pics, no, they do not look like quality products.

I will give them the benefit of the doubt (but not money!) to reserve judgement until I see some pics from respectable outlets :D

If they don't have actual product by SDCC I'm gonna have serious concerns about these things. How many members do we have attending CC this year?

Yeah, I wasn't feeling these before and now it's a definite pass. There's too much coming out or available soon that will suit me better.

Kind of has that caked-on look to it. Like the war paint on those ladyboys MW goes in for.

Some pictures from World Scope in Japan. Not really anything new but they did mention that wave 2 is slated for 2015.

Wave 2? Howsabout they actually get wave 1 out?

Someone asked about wave 2 so they gave an estimate. Hopefully they do pretty good so that another wave will happen. Seems like this will be a smaller run than AR stuff.
