I'd always been a big fan of pulpy tough guy characters. So when I found out my favorite Marvel hero The Punisher was in fact a rip on some guy called The Executioner... well... I had to see for myself whats up.

I found myself an old OLD copy of the first novel by Don Pendleton titled War Against The Mafia. From page one... I was sucked in!
Its no high art.. nor is it even well written, but man... it was an adventure.

The Executioner is a lone man on a mission to bust crime and wipe the thugs and crooks off the face of the map.
He blames the mob for the deaths of his family and decided to destroy it.
Great fun.

The Executioner never got any merchandise though, probably because his comic book counterpart, Punisher got all the fame...

It was easy enough to come up with a custom figure.

Love the pic on the first book cover... I mean, put a mask on him and call him "Snake-Eyes" or something. OR... a big white skull of some kind on his front. Either way.

Good looking custom, however.

I'm pretty sure he was an inspiration for the Punisher. Loved the books, always a fun read. And that figure is awesome! Well done.

Agreed. Great looking figure, but maybe loose the knee pads and fill the holes.
