Went hunting today and found the new 3.75 MIB 3 figures. I have been looking forward to these since they were announced. In my Joeverse The President is Bruce Wayne and until now the dio I had set up I used the Renegades fiugres as the special Presidential Guard. Also in my Joeverse the President has rides around in a Escalade mostly due to the fact I cant find a 1:18th scale limo. The MIB guys look great next to the joe and other same scale figures. I kept Agent O'Hara on the Presidential team as she carries the "football" everywhere the President go. I gotta say I love the MIB 3 guys and have plans for customs when I find more of them.

and with keeping with current events...here is one on of my Secret Service members paying for certain services in Cartagena. In all seriousness, when I was a Police Chief I had the honor of working directly with the a former Presidents advance team due to a visit to a town near here and I was handpicked to assist them. I have nothing but respect for the Secret Service and hope this incident doesnt detract from the respect they deserve.

Do they have a neck ball too? They do look nice for that application. Finally, some suited figures hopefully at a reasonable price.

I found them at TRU. They were 9.99 each. They also have deluxe figs with the noisy cricket and nueralizer. I got my boys the deluxe figs since they wanted the life size "props" from the movie. The neck as the same ball joint that the WWE 3.75 and UFC figures have. They have great articulation for figs in suits. The jackets are soft that allows for seated positions and just a little touch of a exacto "unbottons the jacket for removal. They have the same body articultation as the wwe/ufc figures have. I would have cleared then out of the J and K but I didnt want to grab them all and leave nothing for anyone else. I will be picking more up for several customs I have planned. I did talk to Jakks and they told me that only Target and TRU would be carrying them. I have to say that I love these even better than the SDCC suit and tie Destro. Tons of Potential with these. Also I guess that a "bad guy" alien in the movie also is wearing a sports jacket with dress pants and a dress shirt without buttons was there as well. I am planning on grabbing a few of those as well and swapping heads and hands for some "casual wear" customs.

nice - I was planning something similar for those figures. $10 each will mean I will have to take my time getting a few of them, hopefully they stay around longer on pegs than the A-team figures... :(

I know what you mean. If I find more at TRU I am going to lay them away. Loving the fact TRU has lay a way now year round. Just an idea for you if you run into them and dont have enouch cash. The 9.99 tag did kinda hurt but I couldnt resist. What kills me is the deluxe figs with life size weapons only cost 5bucks more and have the same articualtion

I will never understand TRU pricing. Never. the MK Classic 4" figures are 14.99 with no accesories, the 4" MK9 figures are 9.99 with an accessory. odd, I know.

They look a little broad in the shoulders but not so much that it detracts from the overall figure.
I may pick one up for a custom I've been wanting to do for a long time.

the MIB figures look a little wide. I don't think Tommy and Will are that brawny or fat or whatever.

Pfft, more like WWI trench armor. :D

Still, need to check these out when the chance arises.

I'll check these out when the clearance arrives. I can't justify shelling out ten bucks for those. They're not good enough.

How far off are 1:24th scale accessories to 1:18th? I saw some camping stuff I liked in that scale.

If they'd done the right thing and had gone closer to the cartoon character we could use Ren. Ripcord's as Obama.

A store in DC has an Obama fig with a Podium and US flag in a stand with the Presidential seal behind him from a press conference...just about 1:18 scale. Head sculpt isn't too bad, could be made to fit these or a Joe.

I did try to do a head swap of the Ren. Ripcorf earlier and with a little paint for some hair it works pretty well. I did need to do some work to get the head on the MIB body. Since my joeverses presidential elections are later this year he will have to win the nomination to challenge President Waynes re-election. I plan on posting pics of the other custom I did with a MIB body and a Indiana Jones head, I made a Harrison Ford "President Marshall" from the movie Air Force One. I know the shoulders are a little wide but I am loving the suit and tie bodies that we have been wanting for years.

I think I've seen these online.

I bring it up, as the cartoon Ripcord looked so much like a cartoon Obama.

Hail to the Chief, indeed.

They sure do.... :pirate:

Does anybody have a link to the Obama 1:18th scale figure with podium? I tried looking it up but cant find it. Not real great with a computer and looking for a little help. I would love to have that fig and podium.
