I believe this is our... uh... Sweet 16th anniversary? 2009-2026? I can do math. 16 dang years, the site can DRIVE A CAR!
It also mostly stays working, mostly. Which is nice. I still need to try and figure out the front page, it is on the list.
So yeah, thank you everyone who is reading this and still pops by our little neck of the woods.
I'm still mad at all of you collecting 1:12th scale figures, we're the Fighting 118th! Oh well...
Our yearly site costs have creeped up to a whopping:
$265.20/year for Site Hosting, Dedicated IP (for the server software), & bandwidth etc.
$18.99/year for SSL so we can be all secure and stuff.
$284.19 total, or the low low price of $23.68/month.
Technically it's a little more because I have to also keep the domain name registered which is like $15/year or something but that lets me do it in 5 year increments or something so it's a little cheaper.
I have no idea why hosting costs have gone up, it used to be like $15/year, but as usually.. "inflation" which makes no sense. Storage/etc. should all be cheaper than before.. oldmanyellingatcloud.gif
