Hey I hope this has not been already posted a lot...
I have a 25th VAMP that I painted with inexpensive Folkart paint at one point. Didn't like it so I removed most of the paint with some Windex and then again with a product known as Simple Green. Unfortunately the paint still resides in the detail areas like the rear fan ducts under the vent covers and the front engine areas... I heard someone saying that they had used Easy Off Oven Cleaner to remove the paint on various model parts on a site (don't remember which).
Gotta say that being that it is Folkart Acrylic (water wash up) paint that is on the plastic, I am really surprised that it adhered this well... I have used various tools to aid in the process, but I didn't want to do a lot of scraping as this would only damage the part...
I should also mention that the body part soaked in the Simple Green for much more than a day or two...
