Looks like these will be available at BBTS but are a bit pricy...

Thunderbirds Toys, Action Figures, and Collectibles

They have them listed as 6" though so these might not be the 9.5cm ones that were released in the UK, unless I am missing something.

I got one of the "Hood" and intend to use him as a generic villian for my Joes.

They are basically 1:18th in scale.

That's good to hear. The Hood looks top notch. Maybe not $17 plus shipping top notch, but good just the same.

Has this started airing over here yet? I grew up on this shit so I'm keen to see the updated version.

I've never heard of this cartoon. I'm interested from an entertainment standpoint.

The JLU-looking figures don't fit any of my existing collections, so I'll have to pass on these toys.

The original is a puppet series from the 60s, the idea being that a group called ''International Rescue'' swoops in whenever there's a disaster, using specially-designed ''Thunderbirds'' vehicles (Thunderbird 2 was always the coolest...) As a kid it was always exciting to watch, as it was very ''ticking clock'' but by today's standards it's a bit slow.

Commander Riker directed a horrible live-action version a few years back but this new take looks a little closer in spirit to the original.

I sent BBTS a question about their scale. This is what I got back. I figured that was the case but I figured I'd check to be sure.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! I have passed the information along to our Product Department for review, hopefully we can get this updated soon enough. Likely you are correct that these figures will be in 3.75" or 9.5cm, I hope this will help and please let me know if you have any other questions.
