Behold, the Darkness Primordial. The Unending Darkness. The Void between all the Stars. In the pocket universe of Olympus and its tangential worlds, Chaos was primeval and interminable.
In time without measuring Erebus came into being and was the First One. The Silence and Cold Black between Stars and all moments. He gave form and structure to the Olympian universe, the framework within all which was to come would and could occur. He holds back Chaos, but is also begotten of it.
In time, the Chaos also begat Nyx, the Mother of All Night. Although he is cold, and empty, and distant; Erebus loved Nyx and in time they begat the first children, the eldest being Hemera the Day's Light. And in the eons before the Titans came, Erebus and Nyx begat their family Hypnos of Sleep, and Thanatos of Death, and Charon the Boatman across Styx.
As time has turned, and Titans and Gods and Men have peered into the silent black of the universe; Erebus has ever watched back and waits...
Erebus is the repurposed HACKS Celestial Perseus with some gear from the Silver Accessory set. I painted his hair and beard with a mix of a sky blue with black wash and the armor/gear with the black wash. And I threaded the shield and replaced its handle grip with some twine.
Et voilá, Erebus.
