XOC2008 Viper Concept.

So, i was pretty impressed with how XOC went about his Viper "refreshing", and decided to follow his lead, conceptually.

Looks like something that should be on the pegs to me. It's amazing how you (customizers) can put together figs like this, which to me looks 10x more like what most people would want anyway, and yet we don't get this in the stores.
I mean... it's not that hard is it?

Apparently for Hasbro it can be.

Well... I guess if hasbro were to do this version, they wouldn't have any reason to make a "new and improved" one later on. And that's why I have so many figs from SW, Joe, etc that are obsolete now.

Hah! Damn.. all right.. visualizing it, the jackboots didn't work for me. But seeing it definitely takes it to another level. I like the belt, what's it from?

Valor versus Venom Baroness, believe it or not. At first it was just a convenient place-holder, but the holstered PPK has grown on me.

Huh. And how'd you get the jackboots to fit? Did it take some trimming? I'm seriously considering it now that I can see it, and it looks a hell of a lot better than I imagined it would.

The lower knee joint of the ST requires a considerable amount of trimming.

came out great K-T...really really dig'n the paint job/wash you gave him...i too like that belt...

I tried to keep paint to a minimum. It would certainly lend to easier mass reproduction if one wanted to build an army.
